This poem is really simple, really sweet and meaningful. The infection part really meant something to me seeing as I am also something other than straight. I've heard that many times before and it's quite offensive. The ending was a little confusing but the whole poem was something I'd even recomend children to read. The technique is smart because you're asking people to accept you without sounding too needy. But the actual impact, compared to the actual size of the poem; massive. It made me think of how gays (and other sexualities) feel about being separated from straight people as if they were dirt or as you explained, "an infection" A very cute poem that really brightened up my evening C:
